Fabricator

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a skilled Fabricator to join a specialist manufacturer based in Nottingham. The company designs, fabricates, and installs high-quality steel and glass structures for various sectors nationwide. They are currently delivering several major projects on behalf of well-known UK brands and are looking to strengthen their workshop team with additional fabricating expertise.

• Full-time, Temp-to-Perm or Permanent (subject to experience)
• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
• Friday: 07:30 – 12:30
• Competitive, dependent on skills and experience
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate bespoke metalwork in a workshop environment to high standards

• Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce accurate components

• Work with precision to meet tight tolerances and quality requirements

• Support site installation teams on occasion where additional assistance is required

• Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a clean working area

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience in metal fabrication and sheet metal work

• Confident reading and working from engineering drawings

• Experience working with mild steel and stainless steel

• CSCS card is an advantage (not essential)

• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Must have the right to live and work in the UK (no sponsorship provided)
